Control Type
When creating attributes, a control type have to be set. The control type defines what type of data that can be set for that attribute.
Available Control Types
| Date | Used for dates, e.g. start dates or end dates. |
| Integer | Used to set the attribute to a whole number, e.g. a quantity. |
| Checkbox | Used to set the attribute as checked or not checked, e.g. active or inactive. |
| Drop down menu with checkboxes | Used to give the user a list of alternatives to choose from and the possibility to select more than one choice, e.g. a list of mobile phone models. |
| Drop down menu | Used to give the user a list of alternatives to choose from, e.g. a list of mobile phone models. |
| Text field | Used to be able to enter any text in the attribute, e.g. a location. |
| Accessory | Used to be able to keep track of any accessories associated with the item, e.g. headset or extra charger. More than one accessory can be connected to each object/node/organization group. |
