Import Information - Standard Imports

In Pro 9 there are a number of standard imports. There are specific descriptions for the most commonly used imports. The rest of the standard imports are described below.

Import Description
Telenor FPF format - Monthly Standard format used by Telenor - Aggregated information for each SIM number (monthly file)
Telenor FPF format - Specified Standard format used by Telenor - Specified (call by call) information for each SIM number (monthly file)
Telenor specified - Incl. pricing Uses the Telenor Standard file above but then applies price to each call based upon traffic price list in Pro 9.
Telia mobile specified - Outbound Standard format used by Telia - Specified (call by call) information for each SIM number for all outbound calls (monthly file)
Telia mobile specified - GPRS Standard format used by Telia - Specified (GPRS usage) information for each SIM number (monthly file)
Telia mobile specified - Roaming Standard format used by Telia - Specified (roaming charges) information for each SIM number (monthly file)
3 mobile aggregated - Calls and services Standard format used by 3 mobile - Aggregated (calls and services) information for each SIM number (monthly file)
TeliaSonera - Traffic Standard format used by TeliaSonera - Specified (call by call) information for each SIM number for all outbound calls (monthly file)
TeliaSonera - GPRS Standard format used by TeliaSonera - Specified (GPRS usage) information for each SIM number (monthly file)
TeliaSonera - Roaming Standard format used by TeliaSonera - Specified (roaming charges) information for each SIM number (monthly file)

TDC mobile import Standard format used by TDC - Specified (call by call) information for each SIM number (monthly file)
Skype specified CDR Standard import for importing call data downloaded from the Skype Business Portal. Specified (call by call) information for each SkypeID (monthly file)
Import of objects Standard Pro 9 import enabling the import of objects into the system.


How to - Do an Import - Common Settings

  1. Compare and adjust the file to the file format definition for the specific import type
    • You can find the file format definitions for most imports by opening the file definition section at the bottom of the import page
    • Fields marked as mandatory (*) must be filled in
    • Ensure that there are no empty rows at the end of the file
  2. Save the file from the other system as a tab separated text file
  3. Give the file a name
    1. Copy it to a shared directory on the server - enter \\server name\directory
      • The server name is the name of the server where Pro 9 is installed
      • The directory is the name of the shared directory where the import file will be placed - e.g. \\server1\import
    2. Copy to a folder on your local computer
      • Contact Servicedesk to change system settings to import by browsing
  4. Open the appropriate import type in the Reports & Integrations view
  5. Enter the name of the import file in the file name or choose file from your local computer
  6. Enter the imports specific settings, specified below
  7. Select to validate during the import; the validation check for the correct number of column, that the data type of each column matches the data in the row and that the max length of each column isn't exceeded
    • No - select if you don´t want to use the validate function or if the file definition is missing
    • Note: If file definition is missing the validation function have no impact
    • Yes (stop on validation error) - select if you want the import to stop on validation error
    • Yes (continue on validation error) - select if you want the import to show validation error after the import is done
    • Note: Have in mind that a larger file can take longer to validate due to the capacity on the server!
  8. Select data mappings
  9. Check the show when ready box to show the import report in the open view when ready

Note: It is possible to run the same import simultaneous and import more the one file at the time
