Handle Multiple Objects
In the Handle multiple objects view you are able to make multiple edits in one place, choose to edit selected objects at once or one by one. Editable fields are Object info, Pro 9 is master and Attributes.
From this view book services and move object/s tabs are available and can be used to book or move multiple objects or objects can be handled one by one.
If objects are imported from an external register (Pro 9 is not master), changes should be carried out externally.
How to - Show the Handle Multiple Objects View
- Search for objects in the main search view and check the objects you want to edit
- Click the icon
to open the action menu in the toolbar above the table, and select handle multiple objects
- The handle multiple objects view opens
How to - Multi Edit Objects
- Select Edit all objects in the list
- Check the Info box if you want to update object info
- Add new info or leave blank to erase content in selected objects
- Check the Pro 9 is master box if you want to update pro 9 is master
- Check the box to indicate if Pro 9 is master or if the information is to be imported from an external register
- Click save
How to - Multi Edit Attribute Values
- Select Edit all objects in the list
- Add a value in the Attributes section as appropriate
- Click empty to clear the attribute value, only apply to text attributes
- Click default to add the default value for the attribute, only apply if a default value is added in the attribute settings
- Click undo to undo changes that are not saved
- Click undo all unsaved attribute changes to undo all changes that are not saved
- Click save new attribute values
How to - Edit Objects One by One
- Use the arrows or click the name of the object you want to edit
- The Edit object opens as the single update view
- If you want to change the object’s general information:
- Change or add relevant information in the Object name and Info fields. The object type and node are not editable
- Check the box to indicate if Pro 9 is Master or if the information is to be imported from an external register
- MEX
- Check the box to indicate if the object is a MEX (only available for extension objects)
- In this case, also define the cell phone number in the field that shows up when you check the box

- Uncheck the box to disconnect a MEX
- Check the keep current organization group if you want to keep current organization group
- Check the keep current person if you want to keep current person connected
- If you want to change organization group and/or person connection, uncheck the box and select a new value in the dropdown-lists
- It is also possible to search for a specific value, enter the name (or part of the name) of the group/person in the search field
- The menu will automatically update based on your search
- Select a group/person in the menu
- Check the box to indicate if the object is a MEX (only available for extension objects)
- Click save
- If you want to change the attribute values:
- Change the values of the fields in the Attribute section as appropriate
- Click save
