Custom Task Group

With custom task group you can create task groups to connect specific permission to a custom role . This can be useful when you want to create a role with a mixture of permissions from any of the existing roles or just limiting the permissions of an existing role.

The custom roles are assigned to users in the user permissions view.


How to - Show Custom Task Group

  1. Click on the role Application Security in the navigation tree
  2. Select User permissions > Custom roles
  3. Click on links Icon Links.png
  4. Select 'custom task group'
  5. The view custom task group is displayed

How to - Create a Custom Task Group

  1. Click add Icon Add.png
  2. Define a name for the custom task group
  3. Add task to be included in this custom task group:
    1. Check the boxes for the task you want to include in the task group
    2. Click save


How to - Edit a Custom Task Group

  1. Click on the name of the custom task group you want to edit
    • The Edit task group view is displayed
  2. Change the name if needed
  3. Check or uncheck the boxes for the task you want to include or exclude in the task group
  4. Click save


How to - Delete a Custom Task Group List

  1. Check the box for each custom task group you want to delete
  2. Click the icon Icon Links.png to open the action menu in the toolbar above the table, and select delete
    • The custom task group is immediately deleted
