Alarm Receiver View
Alarms may, besides from being shown in the application, also be sent as emails or in some cases as NetSend messages. Alarms regarding different objects/integrations may be sent to different receivers.
Take the opportunity to use the functionality for sending a test email to ensure that email is setup correctly and works over time. Any changes regarding the email server used needs to be updated in Pro 9.
How to - Show Alarm Receiver
- Click on the role Application Maintenance or the role Traffic Monitoring in the navigation tree
- Select System monitoring > Alarms/Alarm nodes
- A list of available alarms is displayed
- Click edit alarm monitoring in the Links menu
- A list of alarm receivers is displayed
How to - Add a New Alarm Receiver
- Click add
- Enter one or more alarm receivers (email addresses) in the to field, separated by semicolons
- Enter a description for the alarm receiver if needed
- Click save
- Alarm categories
- Click add
- Select a category in the drop down menu
- Integration error - Errors regarding integration, e.g. AD/HVD, import
- License error - Errors regarding license
- Other error - Errors regarding other issues
- Customized errors - Implemented for customized use, please contact Servicedesk for more information
- Define a subject for the alarm email that will be sent out (optional)
- Click save
- Click add
- Log object
- Click add
- Select a node in the drop down menu you want to send logging errors for
- For a node to be available to choose, the calls have been or are to be logged to the node option must be checked in the node settings
- Select if you want to receive errors for all or select a log object in the drop down menu
- Define a subject for the alarm email that will be sent out (optional)
- Click save
- Click add
