Answer Groups
Creating answer groups in Pro 9 is an easy way to group and name your objects. Answer groups are used for grouping objects, such as a group of extensions in one department, or calling numbers, making it easy to display recurring reports on a set of objects.
How to - View Answer Groups
- Click on the role Response quality in the navigation tree
- Select Answer groups > Manage answer groups
- A table of answer groups is displayed in the right-hand window
How to - Add a new Answer Group
- Click add
- Enter a name for the answer group
- Click save
- After the name has been saved, the Objects in the Answer group section is displayed, as well as the Add objects to the answer group section
- Unfold the Add objects to the answer group bar by clicking expand
- Select search and add members to search for objects to add
- Search for the objects you wish to include in the answer group either by entering text or numbers in the search objects field
- Click search, the less characters you enter in the box, the more hits you will have
- Check the objects you wish to include in the answer group

- Select add all members from group to add all members from an existing group
- Check the box for the group you want to copy members from, adds all objects not currently in the group
- Select search and add members to search for objects to add
- Click add at the bottom left

To be able to edit an answer group you must be the owner of the group.
- Click on the name of the answer group you want to edit
- The Edit answer group view is displayed
- To update the answer group name:
- Enter the new name in the name field
- Click save
- To add new objects to the answer group:
- Unfold the Add objects to the answer group bar by clicking expand
- Select search and add members to search for objects to add
- Search for the objects you wish to include in the answer group either by entering text or numbers in the search objects field
- Click search, the less characters you enter in the box, the more hits you will have
- Check the objects you wish to include in the answer group

- Select add all members from group to add all members from an existing group

How to - Export Answer Group Members to Excel
- Click the icon
to open the action menu in the toolbar above the table
- Select export group members
- All members in the group will be exported to Excel and display group, number, node and info (object info)
How to - Set Permissions on Answer Groups
- Click the name of the answer group you wish to set permissions on
- Click permissions
