Accounts

Traffic categories and services must be connected to an account when creating them. There is a default account connected to all traffic categories from start.

The name of the account, as well as the account details, are usually obtained from a financial account plan and concerns debit and credit accounts and can be a good way of dividing different costs to different accounts. Some of the invoicing reports group the costs by account.

The account details that are entered in Pro 9 are many times used in the export file to the ERP system.

Connecting traffic categories to different accounts is done in the Traffic category/Account view. Connecting services to different accounts is done in the Services view.

Examples of different accounts can be Traffic charges fixed telephony, Traffic charges mobile telephony, Monthly service fees fixed telephony, Monthly service fees mobile telephony and Mobile roaming charges


How to - Show Accounts

  1. Click on the role Invoicing in the navigation menu
  2. Click Financial accounts > Manage financial accounts in the navigation menu
    • A list of accounts is shown to the right


How to - Add a New Account

  1. Click the add button Icon Add.png
  2. Enter name
  3. Enter account (mandatory)
  4. Enter an offset account (optional)
  5. Click save Icon Save.png


How to - Edit an Existing Account

  1. Click edit Icon Edit.png next to the account you want to change
  2. Change name or account properties, as needed
  3. Click save Icon Save.png


How to - Delete an Existing Account

Only accounts that are not connected to any service or traffic category, and that haven't been previously, can be deleted.

  1. Check the box for each account you want to delete
  2. Click the icon Icon Links.png to open the action menu in the toolbar above the table, and select delete
    • The account is immediately deleted


How to - Show the Traffic Category/Account View

In the Traffic category/Account view you can connect the accounts to the traffic categories for accounting purposes.

  1. Open the Links menu Icon Links.png and click Traffic category/Account
