Control Type

When creating attributes, a control type have to be set. The control type defines what type of data that can be set for that attribute.

Available Control Types

Date	Used for dates, e.g. start dates or end dates.
Integer	Used to set the attribute to a whole number, e.g. a quantity.
Checkbox	Used to set the attribute as checked or not checked, e.g. active or inactive.
Drop down menu with checkboxes	Used to give the user a list of alternatives to choose from and the possibility to select more than one choice, e.g. a list of mobile phone models.
Drop down menu	Used to give the user a list of alternatives to choose from, e.g. a list of mobile phone models.
Text field	Used to be able to enter any text in the attribute, e.g. a location.
Accessory	Used to be able to keep track of any accessories associated with the item, e.g. headset or extra charger. More than one accessory can be connected to each object/node/organization group.
