In Pro 9, accounts can be created to be able to connect costs related to certain traffic categories or services to the correct account in the finance system. For an account you define a name, the account number and the offset account number.
You also have the possibility to report on accounts. When reporting on accounts, you will always select one or more periods for which you want to see the costs.
Example: An account called Mobile costs is created. All costs related to mobile phones are connected to that account, e.g. traffic categories such as mobile calls, data traffic and SMS as well as services such as mobile phones, subscription fees and headsets. Reporting on the account Mobile costs now gives a good overview of all costs related to mobile phones.
Accounts are created in the Accounts view.
Note: If you have no need for reporting costs on accounts, it's not necessary to create any accounts, but there is always a default account.
