Manage Schedules for Jobs

In this view, you can create and manage schedules for scheduled jobs.

  • Schedules for scheduled jobs define when and how often the job should run.

All existing schedules for the selected job are shown in a list. The schedules can be set to be recurring or to run one-time only.

If needed, it's possible to define several schedules for one job.


How to - Show Schedules for Scheduled Jobs

  1. Click the role Application Maintenance
  2. Click System monitoring > Scheduled jobs
    • A list of all scheduled jobs is shown
  3. Click Links > Edit schedules Icon Links.png


How to - Create a Recurring Schedule

  1. Select what job to create a schedule for in the select job menu
  2. Click add Icon Add.png
  3. Enter a name for the schedule, e.g. describing when and/or how often the scheduled job is run
  4. Check the enable box if you want the schedule to be enabled
  5. Select according to what time zone the schedule times are defined
  6. Select the recurring schedule type to run regularly
  7. The repeats menu defines how often the schedule is run; select monthly or weekly
    • If you select monthly - define in the occurs menu on what day of the month the scheduled job is to be run
    • If you select weekly - define on what weekday the scheduled job is to be run by checking the corresponding box
      • It's possible to select more than one weekday if you want to run the scheduled job more than once a week
  8. Define the daily frequency; select Occurs once at or Occurs every
    • Occurs once at - the scheduled job is run once on that day
      1. Define at what time during the day the scheduled job is to be run
    • Occurs every - regularly during a defined time interval during the day
      1. In hours or minutes, select the frequency of how often to run the scheduled job during the defined time interval
      2. Define the time interval by entering a time to start at and a time to end at
  9. Click save


How to - Create a One-Time Schedule

  1. Select what job to create a schedule for in the select job menu
  2. Click add Icon Add.png
  3. Enter a name for the schedule, e.g. describing when and/or how often the scheduled job is run
  4. Select according to what time zone the schedule times are defined
  5. Select the one-time schedule type to run the scheduled job once
  6. Define the date and time for the one-time occurrence
    1. Define a date
    2. Define what time to start at
  7. Click save


How to - Edit a Schedule

  1. Select what job to edit a schedule for in the select job menu
  2. Click edit Icon Edit.png for the schedule you want to change
  3. Edit the necessary properties
    • For details on the settings, see the create a recurring schedule or the create a one-time schedule section above
  4. Click save


How to - Disable/Enable a Schedule

  1. Select what job to disable or enable a schedule for in the select job menu
  2. Click edit Icon Edit.png for the schedule you want to disable/enable
  3. Change the enable setting for the schedule
    • To enable - ensure that the box is checked
    • To disable - ensure that the box is not checked
  4. Click save


How to - Delete a Schedule

  1. Select what job to delete a schedule for in the select job menu
  2. Check the box for each schedule you want to delete
  3. Click the icon Icon Links.png to open the action menu in the toolbar above the table, and select delete
    • The schedule is immediately deleted
