Object Types

In this view, you create the object types to be used in Pro 9.

How to - Show Object Types

1. Click the Application Maintenance role
2. Click Nodes and object types > Manage object types

   • The Object Types view opens

How to - Add Object Types

1. Click add

   • A new row opens

2. Enter a name for the object type
3. Select what node type this type of object applies to in applies to node of type
4. Check the active box if the object type is to be available to select when creating a new object
5. Check the default box if the object type should be preselected in the drop down list when creating a new object
6. Click save on the row

How to - Edit Object Types

1. Click edit for the object type you want to edit

   • The row opens

2. Edit the name for the object type
3. Change what node type this type of object applies to
4. Check the active box if the object type is to be available to select when creating new objects
5. Check the default box if the object type should be preselected in the drop down list when creating a new object
6. Click save at the end of the row

How to - Delete an Object Type

1. Check the box for each object type you want to delete
2. Click the icon to open the action menu in the toolbar above the table, and select delete

   • The object type is immediately deleted

Note: An object type can only be deleted if there are no objects connected to it.
