General Information

This page contains general information in different areas that is helpful to users of Pro 9.

Ribbon bar

In the ribbon bar, you find a number of icons. What icons are shown depends on what view you are in.

- Go to the page you have set as your start page

- Go back to the previous page

- Go forward to the next page

- Go back to top

- Go to the online help page related to the currently open Pro 9 view

- Set a page as your start page or set a report as a favorite report

- Set permissions

- Save search parameters or report selection

- Feedback interface is a channel to product management to leave feedback about Pro, read more about the feedback interface

- Open the menu with links to related pages

- Copy linked value on hovering e.g. objects from search result, either click on the icon or press "Ctrl + c" in order to copy the field/value

Reports

The system always remembers the report selection that was used the last time the user opened this report.

Search

When using the search function, you can always enter % to show all items.

In many tables you can also use the toolbar to search or to filter the content.

Inactivity Logout

When a user has been inactive for 20 minutes, he/she will be automatically logged out. How much time that remains before the user is logged out is shown below the navigation menu.

Browser

Supported browsers for Pro 9 are Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. It is recommended to not use the compatibility mode.

System Language

The system language is controlled by the browser settings. Available languages are English, Chinese, Russian and Swedish. If the browser is set to some other language, English will be used. The browser language settings also control the language of the wiki.
