Price Groups

Price groups are used to simplify the work of updating prices. Price groups allow you to update pricing for several traffic types in a price list at once.

Create price groups for traffic types that for example always have the same start price, normal and low cost pricing.

Removing a price group will not affect the prices of the traffic types that are part of the price group.

The price group function can also search and suggest price groups to be created based upon a given number of traffic types that currently have the same price.

How to - Show Price Groups

1. Click on the role Invoicing or the role Traffic Monitoring in the navigation tree
2. Click on Price lists > Manage price groups

How to - Add a Price Group

1. Click on add to create the price group
2. Enter a name for the price group
3. Select a price list
4. Click save

   • At the bottom of the window, two expandable frames are displayed:

     • The frame Traffic types on selected price group shows the traffic types that currently are connected to the group
     • Use the frame Add traffic types to connect traffic types to the price group

5. Expand Add traffic types by clicking on expand
6. Select traffic category for the traffic types to add
7. Select the traffic types to add to the price group by checking the corresponding boxes
8. Click on add below the table to add the types

   • The added traffic types are shown under Traffic types on selected price group

9. Click on save to save the price group

How to - Edit a Price Group

1. Click on the name of the price group you want to edit
2. Click expand to expand the frame Traffic types on selected price group and show the traffic types that currently are connected to the group
3. To delete traffic types:
4. Check the box for each traffic type to remove from the price group
5. Click the icon to open the action menu in the toolbar above the table, and select delete

   • The traffic type is immediately removed

6. Click expand to expand the frame Add traffic types to connect traffic types to the price group
7. If you want to add traffic types:
   1. Select a traffic category for the traffic types to add
   2. Select the traffic types to add to the price group by checking the corresponding boxes

      • If there are many traffic types in the traffic category, the table is displayed on several pages, with numerals above the table (e.g. 1 2 3...). Click on a numeral to go to the corresponding page.

   3. Click on add below the table to add the types and show them under Traffic types on selected price group
8. Click on save to save changes to the price group

How to - Delete a Price Group

1. Check the box for each price group you want to delete
2. Click the icon to open the action menu in the toolbar above the table, and select delete

   • The price group is immediately deleted

How to - Search for Possible Price Groups

If you need assistance to find suitable groupings to create price groups for, use the function Find possible price group.

1. Click on find possible price group in the Links menu
2. Select a price list in the menu
3. Enter the number of traffic types that must have the same tariffs
4. Click on search

   • A table with possible traffic types is displayed
   • The current tariffs are displayed in the table

5. Enter a name for the price group
6. Select the traffic types to add to the price group by checking the corresponding boxes
7. Click save
