Node
All objects in Pro 9 must be connected to a node.
The nodes can be of different types:
- For extensions, the node is the PBX to which the extension is connected. There might be several PBX nodes, e.g. on different sites.
- All mobile phones are connected to a mobile node. Regardless of if the mobile phones have different operators, they should all be connected to the same mobile node.
- If you are using Skype, you create a Skype node to which all the Skype extensions are connected.
- If you are using Pro 9 as a register for e.g. computers, you create an IT node to which all the computers and servers can be connected.
Nodes are created and edited in the manage nodes view.
The PBX node type and the mobile node type are available by default. If more node types are needed, they can be defined by the technical consultants from Enghouse. What node types are necessary depends on what this particular Pro 9 installation is used for.
For most of the traffic reports you can select which node you want to report on.
