The Search and Filter Toolbar

The toolbar for searching and filtering is available for many tables in Pro 9, and is used to find units of what is listed in that specific table, e.g. persons, objects, organization groups or reports. The toolbar also enables file export of the table content.

How to - Use the Toolbar Search

The toolbar search is useful to highlight rows that contain a given word or number.

  1. Enter the characters (letters or numbers) you want to search for in the toolbar textbox
  2. Select in what column you want to search by using the drop-down menu
  3. Click search Icon Search.png next to the drop down menu
    • The row with the first occurrence of the given characters in the selected column will be highlighted

  1. Enter the numeral for the page you want to go to in the box that shows what page you are currently on
  2. Click navigate Icon Next.png
    • The selected page is shown

How to - Change the Number of Hits per Page

  1. Select the number of hits you want to show per page in the menu
    • The page is updated and now shows the selected number of hits

Note: This change is only temporary and if you want to change hits per page on all grid views go to My account > Settings

How to - Export the Table Content

The table content can be exported in a semicolon, tab or comma separated text file.

  1. Open the action menu Icon Links.png
  2. Select export to file and what type of separation you want to use in the export file; semicolon, tab or comma
    • The content is exported into a text file that you can save to an appropriate location
