Wiki Help
Using the Wiki
The Pro 9 help wiki has different types of pages, e.g. pages describing the functionality, pages describing the terminology and pages describing the modules.
If you are looking for the explanation of a term used in the system or what the effects of a specific setting are, one way to find it is to use the search function (see below how to use it). An alternative is to click the blue button with the question mark when you are in the view of Pro 9 where that term or setting is located. The wiki page that opens will in most cases have a description of or a link to the term/setting you are looking for.
If you want to find a description of a specific module or a description on how to use a function, use the menu to find the module and functionality descriptions for each part of the system.
Searching
To use the search function in the Pro 9 help wiki, type the word(s) you want to search for in the search field in the upper right corner and press Enter.
If there is a page with that exact name, that page will be displayed. Otherwise a list of pages containing the word will be shown. To perform a more general search, type * directly after the word. Quotation marks can be used to search for an exact phrase.
Example:
- If you type account in the search field, the account page will be shown.
- If you type account* in the search field, a list of pages containing the word account will be shown.
- If you type "attribute group" in the search field, a list of pages containing the phrase attribute group will be shown.
Language
The language in the wiki is controlled by your browser settings. If the wiki page is not translated to your language, it will be shown in English.
In the left menu you'll find the In other languages option, where you can change language by choosing from a list of languages that the current page is translated to.
